Bridge Partners has completed our ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 certifications, the internationally recognized management framework for managing information security governance risk. This allows our firm to protect personal records and commercially sensitive information in a strict and robustly resilient way.
It can take up to 18 months to get an organization certified and requires more than just the IT team to make it happen. In addition to leadership buy-in and support, it takes each member of the organization to complete training. It requires an evaluation of all company systems and tools, potential upgrades, as well as ongoing monitoring and adherence to those standards and policies. That’s the only way to achieve it.
“I’m most proud of my team with which I was able to share this vision,” shares Basharat Khan, Director of IT & Operations. “I also thank my executive leadership team for providing the support and believing in us. Now that we have done this, everyone is satisfied and enjoying this achievement together.”
Top of mind for any CIO is the primary concern over cybersecurity. Having a certificate like this tells the outside world that we are very structured about our processes and we adhere to the standard. We are being audited regularly and your information is safe with us.
When you’re doing business with us, you don’t have to worry about security, sharing PII, or other highly confidential information because we are following the best standard out there, which is not followed by everyone else. It broadens the scope of what we’re able to provide for our clients upfront.
ISO compliance also means we increase our speed of delivery, bypassing supplier risk assessments because we have already demonstrated that our processes are good, our systems are good, and we can handle data safely. Organizations that are not certified will have to undergo those untimely assessments before any work can be started and must be updated annually.
Some of our key clients are making this a requirement to do business with them, and rightfully so. ISO certification is the strictest information security standard you can follow and while this is being widely adopted by the big tech and telco organizations, it’s still not one that many businesses and professional services have.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer quality services at scale. And that means globally. We have processes for enterprise-grade systems because that quality of delivery is the end product we offer to our clients.
