With a history of winning awards such as the Inc. 5000 that recognizes our company’s growth and being named a Best Place to Work year after year, what contributes to our success? (Spoiler alert: it’s the people!)

Our flexible, people-centered, modern workplace attracts purpose-driven professionals looking for work that integrates with their lives while making a recognizable impact for top-tier clients. “Bridge Partners genuinely cares about our employees, both professionally and personally,” shares Heidi Burke, Recruiter. “We make up a community of highly-driven and successful people that consistently encourage and support each other to learn and grow.”
Does this sound like something you’d be interested in being a part of? Heidi shares her secrets to landing an opportunity at our firm. “As a Recruiter for Bridge Partners, I get to help people explore and find new opportunities that can only benefit their careers or their life in general…this brings me great joy and satisfaction!”
Heidi explains what potential candidates can face in our interview process:
“Typically, someone from our amazing recruiting team will reach out to schedule an initial Bridge Partners screen. Here, we will talk about who Bridge Partners is, earn an understanding of what the candidate is interested in, ask about role-specific experience, review general questions like availability and compensation expectations, and wrap with questions from the candidate before providing the next steps. That can include additional interviews with hiring managers or team members, depending on the role.”
“In the first meeting, I look for people who are confident, authentic, knowledgeable, and are interested in or excited about our firm,” Heidi reveals. “I’ll be looking for role-specific information, their key areas of interest, and determining if our expectations are aligned. A hiring manager will be looking for more detailed role-specific experience (with examples!), team and individual leadership, collaboration, and if they are a good communicator.”
This is most often one-page, concise, and in a plain format, although adding creative examples is especially helpful for writers and designers. “I’m looking for something that flows,” Heidi says.
Like anywhere, the process takes time. We believe each person deserves the same care and attention as the next. Sometimes this means meeting people (often referrals) where we might not have an opportunity immediately at hand, but we want to make the connection for future opportunities (which we disclose in the interview to help manage expectations).
It’s helpful when a candidate has reviewed the job description (if sent prior), looked through our website, our core values, and LinkedIn, and has some questions prepared.

We are looking for people who are passionate about what they do and someone who is engaging, positive, and open. It’s a red flag when a potential candidate has not taken a moment to look at our website before the interview or who is not focused on the conversation. Heidi also recommends finding a quiet space for your interviews.
Most importantly, we want to meet the real you. Because our culture is built upon authenticity—it’s even one of our core values—we want our people to show up as their true selves. We have people of all different backgrounds, personalities, geographic locations, and skill sets, which is what makes our perspectives so broad. We celebrate our differences!

“One of my favorite parts about working at Bridge is that I’m able to bring my own authentic self to work every day. I have always prided myself on being genuine and Bridge Partners has allowed me to show this each and every day. When I think about the ability to grow as an individual and focus on work-life balance (as Rich, our CEO, has said numerous times, ‘Family first,’) I am grateful to be a part of this growing community and am excited about what the future holds for Bridge—and myself!”
Heidi genuinely cares about the candidate experience, as demonstrated by this feedback from a recent interview:
